What does it takes to maintain a FORUM.

Just like to know, what does it takes to maintain a forum like DVDFAB wonderful forum.

Example :- cost, hard disk space?

When will threads be deleted? Or will user be removed after no posting for a lengthy period. I remembered CD FREAK sent me an email to inform me to post something or my account will not be usable again.

No idea about cost and such. This info would be privy to the author and I've never asked Fengtao.
