Software Windows " open file-security warning."

Hi, I have been using DVDFab for ages and once before I had the little problem I now have but can't remember what I did Since my last Windows updates when I open Fab from the desktop I get that annoying message about am I sure I want to open the file etc. Before I just clicked on the icon and the program started. Anyone else had this thing? If so how to get rid of it, I know it isn't a big deal but I like to know why strange things happen.

Sounds like you're talking about UAC, Windows famous User Account Control. It prevents nasties from running on your system without your knowledge. It can be disabled (not recommended), look HERE

Maybe you can add Fab to your security program as a trusted program.
