Software 9.063 files not readable with 8.229 but are with 8.085

Just a FYI and a "how come" to a situation... Here it is... I have an old version of PowerDvd 4.0 XP and it would not play Monsters University and DvdFab Passkey would not open the disk. So... I did a full disk backup of Monsters University @dvd9 with version 9.063 everything went fine. Normally it removes ALL of the copy protection that it detects, correct. Now the files play with PowerDvd 4.0 XP ya. But here is the kicker... The files are not readable at all with version 8.229, it says the disk/files have 0mb...wait for it... version 8.085 reads the files perfectly @8.096mb. Now is the why question? why does version 8.085 reads every file fine showing 2 sets of movie/angle file 2 @ 1hr43min40sec & 2 @ 1hr44min10sec (the 1:44:10 files are dummy files I guess) because (the whole movie plays fine) but at the very last few seconds (at the very end of the credits) the sound for the snail scene plays before the actual video scene starts. Why will a 2+ year old version(8.085) read the files created by version 9.063 and a 4 month old version(8.229) will not ???

I have attached the log file that shows both 8.085 and 8.229
