Blue Ray copy

Is it normal for Blue Ray to take over an hour and thirty minutes just in the copy mode ?? Using Verbatim BD-R 25 gb,6 x speed HTL discs. Haven't gotten to the burn portion yet so I cant give time on that. Sometimes I wonder if Blue Ray is worth the bother.

Depends if you Compressing it to fit a smaller disk size if so it could take that long if you have a slower computer and not using cuda or intel quick sync to speed compressing time.Most blu rays won't fit on 25 gig disks uncompressed.If you used 50 gig disks it's much faster.
