The last couple of movies I backed up , started freezing about 3/4 of way thru.I have tried a different drive , same results, last title tried was War Dogs. Is this a known issue?

It is a known result of burning too fast especially on lesser quality blank media. Slow the burn speed and give it a go at half the media's rated speed.How to post the internal log
