Did an update drop from the sky to make MPC-HC on Windows 11 properly play (tone map) HDR10 and DV embedded MP4s and MKVs?
All of a sudden, I download a file, double click it and the default player, MPC-HC plays them correctly. For a Netflix title for example, an HDR10 file would look orange instead of red, and a DV file it would look pink, and the colors all washed out. Now it looks like a regular SDR file.
I have not recently updated my codec pack, K-lite Mega.
I did regular Windows updates, but nothing specific to media packs.
VLC still plays DV files with the pink washed out hue, so it is not system wide.
