I have seen several posts/threads complaining that DVDFAB will not make copies of movies processed with DVDFAB.
I also have seen posts/threads of DVDFAB unable to make copies of non-protected dvds.
I have 18 race dvds of the Baja 250 , Baja 500 and Baja 1000 that DVDFAB has never been able to make copies of. I have always had to use other software to make my copies..
I have spent some time trying to figure out why fab will not work on its own copies or non protected movies such as the race moves.
After hours of experimenting the answer turned out to be simple.
Go to General Setting.. click on Protection . UN check all the boxes relating to removing any and all protection.
The Baja race movies will now open in less then 4 seconds and copy perfectly.
Check all the protection boxes and fab will no longer work on the race movies.
UN-check the boxes and fab will work with the race moves.
I have tried this on 5 of my race movies and have proven to myself that un-checking the protection boxes is the cure.
The setting for Pathplayer does not seem to be important.
Pathplayer enabled... disc opens in 5 to 6 seconds.
Pathplayer disabled.. disc opens in 3 to 4 seconds.
Try it on your non –protected moves and see if it works for you.
