    Hi grapeape

Please post you logs the default location is:
    For Win7 C:\Users\User Name\My Documents\DVDFab\Log
    or Vista C:\Users\User Name\Documents\DVDFab\Log
    or for XP C:\Documents and Settings\User Name\My Documents\DVDFab\Log
Please use attachment button and attach your most recent, Internal and Burn log(s) and post right here.

I'm guessing but I think your burner does not like the media you are using

      Yup, totally agree.
Several causes pop up and CBR929 already named the #1 suspect.
Could also be a dirty lens, poor firmware support or a bad drive.

Definitely pick up some quality media....Verbatim (and be certain it has the AZO Dye logo on the spindle wrapper) or Taiyo Yuden.

For more specific help, please do as suggested by my pal CBR929 and post the logs.

As CBR and maineman stated, it's definitely an issue with burner or media, and I just wanted to add burn speed will also give you that error. I got it with Imgburn once with my Lite-On Drive that has a modded/speed-patched firmware and I was trying to burn a disc at 24x. Good times had by all.
