Other software or cuda

am just wondering what is better the default settings on dvdfab or change them to cuda as i have a nivedia geforce 9600s and is cuda enabled and will be getting a intel q8400 quad chip at christmas as the i7's dont fit my board which is a striker extreme 2 as i have bluray copy and need to speed up the computer hopefully will buy another card and bridge them together any suggestions of people who know.
am on a tight budget(the mrs) so only have about £150 to spend at christmas

Fab doesn't support cards in sli, it will use only the card in slot 1.

* New: Lightning-Recoding technology to accelerate H.264 software decoding and encoding. In our test, it will speed up 20%-40% for H.264 software decoder/encoder, very helpful for user who doesn't have a nVidia CUDA card.

This is a new option in Fab but is only for h264 content.
