Kenbra, to check for updates for your (sony) blu-ray player, go to sony.com and click on Service & Support, then click on Drivers/Software! you will get a page where you can put in your model and check for update! You may have to register frist, and give info, model and serial number, on your blu-ray player! They have been updating my model going on 5 years! That's was how I got my Sony to play bd-disc! It's worth the try! Hope this works for you!
