request for duel layer

Hi
I am not sure if this is the right forum but I just started getting a request for duel layer instead of a single layer disc. I just upgraded to 8.0.6.5. but this was happening before that. Did I do something unintended or is my computer just playing me, out of boredom.

make sure you have DVD5 selected and not DVD9

Sounds like your quality setting is on DVD9 instead of DVD5.

Also .

Click on the green check mark.
Click on write and make sure your setting there is less than 4472.
