IDX and Sub Files

I am new to DVDFab. I like the product and it works great for my needs so far. When I am ripping a DVD to Generic it puts the final AVI in the generic folder. There is also a IDX and SUB file for each movie.

Do I need to keep those files or can I delete them? Are they needed?

If you want your subtitles you need to keep them.

If you keep them, will playback show the subtitles? I am using an OPPO BDP-93 through a hard drive port for playback?

What playback devices or software will playback with the subtitles?

All media players that I have will play the subtitles.

Cannot say about your OPPO. Try the OPPO forum.
