Just tried to update to the new version 8.0.6.7 and the installer says, "Application Error" 0xc0000056 Unable to start correctly. Error occurred while trying to rename file avcodec.dll. Windows 7 premium version. I've seen this on a different browser upgrade. Unable to unlock this error to run programs. Is this a windows issue or dvdfabs ? Previous version had worked correctly.

Never Mind. Figured it out. It's a Windows 7 issue. Here's what I did:
1) Uninstall program and ignore the errors upon uninstall
2) Locate the DVDfab folder and notice the .dll file still in it.
3) .dll file will not delete unless you're the administrator.
4) Restart computer
5) Go back to the dvdfab folder and right click the .dll file and DELETE.
6) Delete the DVDfab folder and then re-install DVDfab. Done.
