    File to Disc

Hi. How can I burn a file in "My Documents" folder (Windows XP Pro SP3) to a DVD disc, using the DVDFab. Please be as specific as possible, as I am far from being a computer expert.
    Thanks, Joseph.

Firstly, the files have to comply with standard dvd video structure.
Simply open DVD Copy, pop the correct size blank media in your burner and select Write Data Mode.
Then navigate to your file via Source (Fab screen) and select the files.

If your uncertain as to size, etc., you can select Customize, Full Disc or Main movie mode, pop in SL (dvd5) media and burn.
These will re-rip the files, compress as necessary as long as you have dvd5 selected as your output and burn.

Write Data will not compress or otherwise process the files...it'll just burn the file as is.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

Thanks. Mainman for the detailed reply. And yet, there is still aproblem: I am at a screen called : DVD Copy Write Data. Now I click on the folder mark, on the right side of the “Source” line . A “Browse for Folder” menu pops out showing all “My Documents” files.
Here I hit a problem: I select a file, press OK, and nothng happens. I tried also the “Drag and Drop” option. Same result.
      Where did I go wrong?
      Thanks for your help, Joseph.
