What is the best blank BD-R disc to use? I'v been using Verbatim 25-g LTH as the 50-g are still to expensive, should I use single or double layer?
Thanks for helping a beginner!
I have been having good luck with the Memorex BD-R's lately. No coasters and if you search around on various sites, you can pretty much get them for like $1.10 per disc. I use single layer discs as much as possibe for the same reason you said above, duals are too expensive. I only use duals for my favorite movies that I want all the special features with it. I compress main movie to fit on one single and that has been working great for me thanks to DVDFab even with 80%+ compression ratios. If money isn't an option you can get duals for around $5.50 per disc, but if your like me and like to keep it cheap, stick with the single layers.
