Other Problems playing MKVs with DTS-HD Audio through MPC-HC and AC3 Filter

    Hi Guys,

Is anyone else having this problem?

I like to keep blu-ray rips as close as possible to the original. However, I've come up against a problem when ripping DTS-HD audio.

I play the files through MPC-HC using the AC3 Filter to boost the audio, but I've noticed that when the audio is DTS-HD the video is choppy and audio is non-existent. When DTS is disabled in AC3 Filter the file plays fine.

    Hi PeteWhite,

For your problem, you can try using other video players(such as VLC Media Player or PowerDVD) to play your converted mkv files with DTS-HD audio and see the result.

      Hi Anny,

I tried in VLC but it doesn't use the AC3 Filter. Haven't tried power DVD though.
