can't get dvdfab to recognize a movie i recorded to dvd-r disc

I can't get dvdfab to find the movie on the dvd-r disc. it does scan the disc but doesn't find the movie, my dvd player and computer can play the disc.
what do i need to do to burn a copy of that disc to my computer

Most DVD recorders are not very DVD compliant and that would be the reason that Fab cannot do it.

As the disk is not copy protected, you can just use copy and paste.
