    CPU/GPU Gpu recommendations

    Hi,

I am building a new machine and I want to get recommendations on a GPU? heres my setup:

    AMD Phenom II x6 1090
    8 gig DDR 3 1600
ASUS M4A87TD EVO AM3 AMD MOBO

What CUDA card will work great but not break the bank? I'm not a gamer but I want something that will work good and quickly with my new machine. I don't want to spend more than $150 if possible. I haven't bought the hardware yet and I'm open for suggestions there too?

I have a liteon blu ray burner and I burn main movie only with as little compression as I can get. Sorry forgot to add this. Thanks again

Yeah, I wouldn't bother.... I refuse to use CUDA... I think it is a POS...

I have a GTX470 with 448 cuda cores ($240) and it cut the processing time down in half. I think you can get a GTX460 for about $150. But I notice from my setup that when I use cuda, it does something to the quality of my ripped movies (@1080p, 13Mbs), so i just do software now. I'd say if you're doing low quality stuff, shouldn't matter.
