I have some questions about the compression of Blu-Ray movies onto 25GB BD-R discs. When I compress a movie onto the 25GB disc at 80%, does that mean that a 1080P movie's resolution is reduced to 864P? How, in layman's terms does this work. And are there any comprehensive sources that have accurate lists of Blu-Ray movies that will fit onto a 25GB disc without any compression? It would be great IF there isn't a list as yet, that perhaps DVDfab members & the DVDfab.com site develop a list so members can determine before hand, IF a movie will fit, uncompressed, on a single layer BD-R disc(?)!!! Since I'm old at 64 years, but new to this 'game' & to this Forum, perhaps it's already been done and I'm ignorantly trying to get something 'invented' that's already being used by members?
