Unable to disc copy or convert to different format

for the last several days I have been unable to make a dvd copy or convert to a different format. The following msg has been displayed every time

    unable to create directory
(then it lists the path if this is pertinent info I will give it to you upon request)

here is a copy of the process log

    12:37:04: Analyzing of DVD started
12:37:41: Analyzing of DVD completed successfully
    12:37:41: Copy process started
    12:58:18: Task_1 failed! Error=400()

    and finally my system specs

    cpu athlon II X3 440 3.00 GHz
    Ram 6 GB
    O/S Windows 7 Ultimate

    Thanks
    Marc

if you need the other logs please let me know but I saw nothing in them that was dated prior to last month. I had made successful copys literally less than five days ago.

    Hi tanaruk
This is a "transcoder error" which can be a multitude of things, please post any more information you can give us, the default location is:
    For Win7 C:\Users\User Name\My Documents\DVDFab\Log
    or Vista C:\Users\User Name\Documents\DVDFab\Log
    or for XP C:\Documents and Settings\User Name\My Documents\DVDFab\Log
Please use attachment button and attach your most recent, Internal and Burn log(s) and post right here.

Also what is the target directory for your burns, drive or HDD disc folder?

        Hi tanaruk
Logs show that you are using and older version of Fab , please update to the newest version found here .
For burning you are burning way to fast for the garbage "sorry" media you are using. Media ID: CMC MAG-M01-00
Slow your burn speed to 1/2 the rated speed of your media in this case would be 8X
Consider picking up some Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim disc's with the AZO dye on the label.
You do not have to get disc's right now but update to the newest version and report back.

tanaruk, the following is from your internal log:
            33m 37.70s: volume label DUE_DATE
            33m 40.79s: got copyright 0 0
            33m 41.04s: got udf/iso
            33m 41.57s: got discinfo
            33m 41.57s: pathplayer enabled
            33m 44.20s: got dvdinfo
            39m 41.62s: detected dvd
            39m 41.63s: drive D
            39m 41.65s: dvd type 0
            39m 41.65s: volume label

That seems to indicate you are attempting to copy a copy. DVDFab's transcoder sometimes has trouble with that. You might try to "Clone" it to the same size disc.
How to post the internal log

Figured it out. I had an older version prior that had started doing the "Cannot create directory (path name)" error. Installed the new version and was still getting the error after going to add/remove programs. Apparently you have to have admin permissions to get rid of all the files and I think the old files were interfering with the new ones, or the issue wasnt deleted when I did the remove.

So I went through deleted all the files that needed admin permission, reinstalled for a second time and now it seems to be working.

I appreciate the help that you offered.
