dvdfab kills interent connection

I use a usb connection for wireless internet. Everytime I start a dvdfab process (like dvdripper) it kills the usb internet. I have replicated this many times and as it is the only program running at the time it is the culprit.
I would like to be able to do a bit of internet browsing while the cpu is doing the crunching. Any ideas?

If your USB internet connection shows up as a drive then DVDFab will try to access it which causes issues. There are other threads in the forums about this issue.
