Install problem

Just downloaded the latest version (DVDFab 8 QT) and tried installing it.
The install seems to get to the end, with a full bar and the message "Finishing Installation" and then just freezes. I have to performa Ctrl alt del to close it.
Repeated several times, always same result.
Cannot uninstall it either - it just locks the PC when I try.
Anyone any ideas??

Are you using Win. XP?
Are you using Norton anti virus?

There are several threads and many post about problems with installing and using the newest versions QT versions.

Installation Problem

Yes, using Windows XP, but not Norton AV. I'm using AVG Anti Virus. Should I disable this for installing?
I'll have a look at some other posts.

And try downloading a fresh installer, could have been corrupted during download or transfer.

Also check that the program did not end up in the Sandbox.

I have the exact same problem and to get it uninstalled I have to d/l 8.0.9.8 Beta QT over top of it in order to uninstall it

INstall Problem

Now installed ok and working fine.
I had to download and install the latest drivers for my NVidia Graphics card, and installed no problem after that.
