I have a quad core windows 7 (x64) machine with an ATI Radeon HD 4870 X2 graphics card and my drivers are up to date. I have DVDfab 8.0.9.9 installed. Recent program updates indicate the AMD APP is now supported but I can't select that option. What is the issue with that Codec selection?

That's correct, DVDFab does supports ATI App acceleration, but your card doesn't. That's why you can't select it.sigpic
Please post your logs the default location is:
For Win7 C:\Users\User Name\My Documents\DVDFab\Log
For Vista C:\Users\User Name\Documents\DVDFab\Log
For XP C:\Documents and Settings\User Name\My Documents\DVDFab\Log
