I will like to Backup my Blu-ray disc and (or) Convert my blu-ray disc to DVD so I am getting DVDFab Blu-ray copy and DVDFab Blu-ray to DVD Converter is
this all I need or Do I need Blu-ray ripper and Blu-ray 3D Ripper if I only plan on just backing up my blu-ray disc?

if you only want to copy your BDs onto other media with or without compression but in BR container, all you need is DVDFab Blu-ray copy. It will do the job for you, but it would not convert your BD into another format like MKV, MP4, AVI, etc.
In your case, seems you don't need ripper or 3D ripper

Yes, you need both Blu-ray Copy, copying Blu-ray's to HDD or burning them to the blank, and Blu-ray to DVD Converter, converting Blu-ray's to DVD format to HDD or the blank.

If you have no need for portable devices, you may not use Blu-ray Ripper and Blu-ray 3D Ripper, both for that end.
