The current version of DVDFab is an 'ad-hoc' response to many of the problems that have plagued many people over time, and as such, a fix to one problem many inadvertently create another one.

If it helps at all, I'm running 8106QT on my XP Pro SP3 system with nary a problem with either installation or running the program. Some things to try...:

1.) Using Imgburn, go to Tools> Driver Filter Load Order, and copy and paste that screen to your next post here.

2.) If you don't have Imgburn, download it (a freebie) and proceed to step 1.

3.) What Anti-Virus are you running on your system?

4.) Have you updated the VGA driver that came with your initial install of XP? The one MS put on the installation disc is out of date now...

    Please advise.

CBR929 that worked thank you for your time. ;-) I would still like to see dvdfab correct this instead of me having to mess with regedit....if you know what I mean...but thanks again

          Hi jpd357
I am glad that it worked for you.
They have tried to fix it but' it's hard to fix something that they could not produce on their end to find the problem, and this did not affect all XP users only a select few.
