Cannot get a single BluRay to Copy

I downloaded DVD Fab and I have been trying for a week now to get a BluRay DVD to rip for my iPhone. It is the only function I need and I am more than willing to pay the 60 bucks.......but I need to know it works

I feel I may be doing something stupid here, after all that tends to be my nature.

    Any help would be appreciated

    My computer is as follows

    HP Pavilion dv6 Notebook
Processor - Intel Core i7-2630QM CPU @2.00 GHz
    RAM - 8.00
    64 Bit OS

      Hi hsolo05
Please do not convert from your drive
First save it to your HDD as "Movie Only" BD50 without compression.
Then open the hard drive folder and use the folder on your HDD to do your converting.
Doing it this way saves wear and tear on your optical drive and is also faster.

You may also try using the software option, to do this Open Fab click the Click the Green at top right corner of the DVDFab screen, and open Common Settings > General >A/V Codec, put a check in Disable all GPU codes, and also uncheck Enable Lightning-Recoding set Video Decoder to Software and set Video Encoder to Software restart Fab and try again.
      Hope this helps

        @hsolo05
I totally agree with my friend CBR929 in regards to ripping your movie to HDD first. It's an essential step.
CBR929 also gave you an option to process your content without GPU acceleration. Considering your powerful processor, it shoul do the trick for you in fairly short time.
However, you might want to experiment with GPU acceleration and try to make it work. BTW, root of your problem seems in GPU acceleration settings.
From your screenshot I can see that DVDFab recognized IQS on your machine ant trying to engage it in transcoding process, unfortunately unsuccessful.
What I would suggest you to is to:
        (a) make sure that DVDFab is added to the games list in Virtu Control Panel
        (b) make sure you using 1-pass process instead of 2-pass.
Try to process again. If unsuccessful, go back to "Software" settings for A/V Codec.

I have noted a problem with some Motherboards not being up to date because a more current firmware from places such as ASUS and MSI have new features to allow Blu-Ray drives on the MOBO. Without this update some motherboards will see the drive but still treat it as a DVD. on a second note the firmware of each DVD-BD drive should be updated as well. And the last thing is the Video Card to the most current driver (Not found on Windows Update but from the direct manufatuerer) The GPU settings in DVD Fab work well as long as the drivers are all up to date. I am running several systems as a testbed to see how low and slow I can go and still be successful. So far this is the common problem (not updating GPU driver) and one that doesn't seem to be mentioned by moderators is the MOBO drivers (BIOS) which in ASUS based systems is especially difficult when it doesnt want to work. Also I tested the Blu_ray Burner on a Intel Atom 1.6Ghz with 1GB of ram winXPPro and it worked fine. Took a few hours but it still worked.
