internet connection with bluray copy program

Hi.
I just have a general question here that I just would like to know why it happen?
With the DVDfab bluray program. Why does it need internet connection to start the process of copying the disc?

I believie it to be because certain protection/decryption keys are held on the DVD Fab server.


May have got the wrong terminology tere but thats the gist of it as i understand it.

Go to the DVDFab Blue Ray Copy section, and read Fengtao's comments on 'BD+ and Internet Connection' sticky... I think that'll answer all your questions about why an internet connection is needed.
