    something strange

I'm trying to burn a disc and I'm seeing something that doesn't look right. I go through the process, as I've done numerous times. Maybe half-way into the copy from source my time remaining starts going up instead of down & mb/s number on bottom left goes down. Happens on 8112 & 8085. I don't have any logs cause I cancel the process

    Any suggestions?

I’ve seen this before, Rio comes to mind. I think when a scene is very complex the transcoder slows down and this is worse when the movie is very large and more compression is necessary. Let it finish and post the logs, without them it is a shot in the dark. You might try a full disk backup to the hard drive, see if it does it when no compression necessary. If not you can use the HDD folder as the source for the “Main Movie” rip, it will be faster because the protection(s) and already gone.
How to post the internal log

Things should be made as simple as possible, but no simpler.

I'm not sure how to switch it to the HDD. I have been doing ths "Voyager" series and I'm on season 6 disc 2. Can I make the target drive my external HP Media Drive and then go through the ImgBurn program?

Please disable pathplayer and try again. Don't forget to turn it back on when done.

99.9% you have bad disc. Or least likely - dirty. Even if it looks clean, outta box and all that, I would recommend to clean disc and try again. If it doesn't work, than 100% you have bad disc, and you should take it back for replacement.

Thanks for all your help. I just did the next disc in the series & had no issues. I'm getting a different copy of the problem disc, so I hope that one works.
