Optical Drives "good" blu ray burner

I in shop mode for a new blu ray burner. Any suggestions will be appreciated. With the issues of Cinavia and such I am less concerned with "low price" but high quality. I know that the cheap is not allways the best, and the best does not mean the most $$$.

Thank you all for any input, it is appreciated.

I have both an LG and Pioneer, neither has caused me any issues or troubles.

The LG came first then the Pioneer, I would probably buy Pioneer next time becuase I like the brand, that's just my opinion though.

Whatever you buy make sure that you can get firmware updates.

    Your mileage may vary..

        Blu-ray player

I use the PIONEER 12x- 206D Model and it works great!

Am just starting to look at making Blu-Ray backups from my library and am seeking advice about which bruner to get for my Win 7 64 system.

I see the last post in this thread was some time ago. Perhaps people have made some new choices since then.

Can people please post make and model numbers of internal drives that have been working successfully to burn blu-ray discs with DVDFab? Also, please mention drives that have been problematic that you suggest I avoid.

          Thanks much!
