Having a hard time locating a media player to connect to my HD entertainment center that supports "DTS MA" audio. Only brand I have found is "Popcorn Hour" and they are rather expensive. ($200 and above). Anyone have a more reasonble priced solution? If it doesn't pass through the DTS Master Audio or Dolby True HD audio it's not worth investing in for my preference.

Marty, thanks for posting the Pivos link.
I''ve been really happy with my Argosy HV335T which has performed well for almost two years now.
I've been looking at adding another MP and this would be a very decent upgrade.
BTW, it looks like Amazon has it back on for $99.99 US
I'm gonna grab one before the price jumps up or they're out of stock. If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

Good to see another old fart's dementia is as bad as mine.
I did it awhile back, but to be fair, maybe you didn't see my post.....
Of course, "Fixed" is a relative term.
Organizing by genre is just too ill-defined and hence time-consuming and difficult.
I finally just did it alphabetically, quick and dirty.
A-D and so on...working out just fine.
I still maintain that a simple menu that provides page up/down function and enhanced scrolling is not too much to ask.
My Pivos should be here in a few days...$99.99 shipped and no sales tax...nice!
"The PIVOS looks very similar and has identical specs to the Kaibor that I am very happy with".
You've never given me bum advice Greg.
Thanks as always. If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

Ordered these items today:
AIOS HD Media Center, Full HD 1080p, Gigabit Network, USB 3.0 data, Flash Reader, 3.5" SATA 2"
"Seagate Expansion 3 TB USB 3.0 Desktop External Hard Drive (STAY3000102)
When they arrive I'm sure I'll have lots of questions for you guys. Thanks for all the help and direction. I do appreciate it very much! I will reread Gregiboy's tutorial and hopefully understand what to do. I already know how to copy a disc to my internal hdd and play it with VSO media player but not at all familiar with the process and usage of a external hard drive and external media player being that I've never had such items before. Any advise would always be welcome! Thanks again!

Hey unc, you're really gonna like the playback convenience and performance of a media player.
Right now I'm using a JBOD (Mediasonic HF2-SU2S2) with 4 x 2TB samsung hdds. Add one more in my Argosy and I've got 10 TB...pretty good even for BD files.
I've got some questions myself about networking, but I don't want to hijack your thread. Guess I'll stick it over in Ch...ch...ch...ch...chat...If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

Feel free to post any questions. I am learning a technology brand new to me.
From what i gather from your last reply is that you have 10 tb worth of movies on your hdd's that you can play on your player? Correct? Do media players read anytype of file that DVDFab Blu ray copies to the hdd's? I am still a little confused by all the different file options and what exactly I'll need to do once my hardware shows up?
