I had previously posted issues with a specific graphics card (GTS450) but in fact it's not a problem of the card. I tried several cards, Nvidia and Ati, and each time when I install the display driver and restart the machine, after that I can't open DVDFab anymore. When I uninstall the driver it works. It also works in Windows 7 with the driver. But not on XP with the driver.
Let me do scheme:
- Windows XP without display driver: DVDFab starts
- Windowx XP with display driver: dvdfab.exe hangs in task manager
- Windows 7 with display driver: DVDFab starts
It even starts in a virtual machine on the Windows XP with display driver (but I don't have access on Blu-ray then, so it's no solution for me).
I have seen in the history log that there had been fixes for "startup under Windows XP" in the past and I think that there have to be fixed some more issues.
How can this be forwarded to the developers?
Not starting means: there is not even a splash screen. It just puts the dvdfab.exe into the Task Manager and that's really all, nothing more.
