Cannot use HD Decrypter - license expired?

    Hi all,

I've long used DVDFab HD Decrypter, and a few months ago paid for the Blu-ray Ripper license to support the team and also, well, rip Blu-rays.

Now, I've still got a bunch of DVDs I want to rip into VOB files for later re-encoding using other software, but I seem not to be able to do this any more. Using EITHER DVD-Copy or DVD-Ripper I'm now told my license has expired. If I check in options, it clearly states HD Decrypter NEVER expires.

What am I doing wrong? It must be something I'm clearly messing up.

If it helps, I did install Cyberlink BD Suite when I got my BD player, but I'm not sure how that can kill things.

I've tried reinstalling the latest version of DVDFab (8.1.3.6) but it hasn't helped.

    Cheers for any help.

In options did you select the line that says.... HD Decrypter NEVER expires.

      Hi Grunon,

      Thanks for replying.

It was the About menu, not Options, sorry, and it says:

HD Decrypter : Free Edition : Yes (Enabled) : Never Expire

My DVD Copy and DVD Ripper options have expired. Do you think that's the cause of this? If so, how can I use HD Decrypter on its own?

Damn. Solved my own problem - I think the disc is too new for HD Decrypter to work with it. I put an older disc in and I can rip that with no issues.

Never mind - sorry to bother you
