Where to get cheap (& compatible) Media? (25/50GB)

Hi guys I see posts here and there about people getting media pretty cheap.

I just read one post about buring coasters on 25 or 50GB discs.. and the poster mentioned that he is wasting $1 versus $5 per disc, depending on if it was a 25GB or 50GB.

Where should I be looking for cheap BR media?
The cheapest I found are a spindle of 10 verbatims at Best Buy for $38.
($3.80 per 25GB disc)

I would like to go 50GB.. but I"m just not finding them (in town at least)

Where do you guys do you shopping & what kind of prices are you getting?

Newegg. Optical Quantum or vinpower digital. I believe they are the same company. I use these with my Pioneer for over 2 years now with 99% success rate. About $1 apiece.

Verbatim LTH 25Gb Hub Printables can be gotten from Supermedia for about $1.50/ea.....Verbatim makes the best discs.

Someone mentioned a Rewritable Blu Ray disc.
Do they make such a beast?
