    Artwork in iPad

I am able to use DVD Ripper to copy a DVD to iPad format. The video plays fine on the iPad. As soon as I add artwork, the video will not play. I still cannot play the video after removing the artwork. The only solution is to delete the video from the iPad and then put it back on without the artwork. Is there any solution to having the video AND the artwork?

I am using Windows XP, DVDfab 8.1.3.8, iTunes 10.5.2 and iPad OS 5.0.1.

    Thank you.

Are you adding the artwork with iTunes?

Yes, I am adding the artwork in iTunes. I right click on the movie, "get info," "artwork" and then "add." I select a jpg file saved on my hard drive. I can see the artwork on the iPad, so I know it copied successfully. The only problem is that I cannot watch the video. If I delete the artwork, I still cannot view the video. The only solution is to delete the video and then copy it over to the iPad again without any artwork, at which point it works perfectly.

That's exactly the method I use and it works fine on my original iPad 1

I used that approach for the past year and have about ten videos with artwork on my iPad 1. This is the first time that I have experienced a problem, which is why I am seeking help.

Whatever the problem I don't believe it to be caused by DVDFab. I just completed four movies with 8.1.3.8, added the cover art and synced them to my iPad and all play fine
