When I try to convert an MOV file I've downloaded to a format which will work on a ROKU 2 I'm having problems.
When I try to load the file it just has a progress bar which never dies. When I watch Dvdfab.exe in procmon, i can see it writing to the log file (dvdfab_internal.log)
This file contains:
DVDFab 8.1.3.8 (2011/12/29 15:54:51)
0m 01.63s: Qt Translator file load success
0m 01.73s: option dvd2dvd 1 dvd2mobile 1 bluray2bluray 1 bd2mobile 1 bd23d 1 bd2dvd 1 file2mobile 1 filemover 1
0m 49.90s: 513.05 : the video size is not the same 1920x1080 -> 1888x1062
When i search for the string "the video size is not the same 1920x1080 -> 1888x1062" on the internet I find lots of people talking about the .MOV format lying about the actual resolution and whatnot. However it seems to all be professional video people and they have options in their editing software I don't have. Has anyone seen this before, and found a solution to my sticking point?
