i have had dvdfab copy for a few months and it worked great. I could copy and play the movie on the computer or TV. But now, it copies fine and plays on the TV fine, but when I put it in the laptop I get a message that says that Winows media player cant play this DVD because it was recorded in a format the WMP doesnt support. The movies I copied months ago still open in WMP and play fine. But not the last few I jave copied. Any ideas?

Sound like a codec issue.
I'm not a fan of WMP and I'm not going to bash it, but have you considered alternative software players?
VLC will play just about anything and does not rely on outside codecs...plus it's free.
The only exception I've found so far is a Blu-ray .ISO.
Another great, free alternative is MPC (media player classic).
