Other Video to DVD, Why ???

    Hello,

People Rip DVD's to make a Personal copy, etc.

People Rip DVD's to Convert to Different format.

But what is the Purpose of Turning my Video into a DVD format with VOB's etc. ???

I can Burn my Video's onto DVD's using Nero etc.

So what is the Point of using DVD Creater, to turn my Video's in to the DVD Format ???

    Hi ordman
Most DVD players will not play video files e.g. MKV, MP4, AVI, M2TS

The purpose of DVD Creator is to convert video files into a DVD compliant file to be able to view on a DVD player

Even if it's a little thing, do something for those who have need of help, something for which you get no pay but the privilege of doing it.

I think ordman was making the point that the Creator product is another me-too product of which there are many (and more mature) options in the marketplace.

        Thanks for your reply.

As I mentioned you can use Nero, etc,.

You can put your MP4 etc, on to DVD's with Background and Menus, and they will play on your Home DVD Player.

I have a WD Media Player, which you can use to Play your Videos, Music, and Pictures right thru your TV.

So I can Shrink my Ripped DVD movie to half the Normal Size and still have a Good Picture.

If I enlarge my 1(one) GB Video to DVD which is 4(four) or 5(five) GB, my Picture is Not getting any better Quality, it just increase's the Pixal Count, which increases the size of Video.

If you want to do that go ahead.

Most smaller videos, have low pixal counts.
so if you increase those types of video, you will make the Quality of your video worse.

That is my view of things.

If you have a counter reply, please tell me.

Yes that was also part of my Point.

That would be Like Nero etc, giving you the Option of turning your Video into DVD, but Not giving you any Templates and Menu Options.

I understand that they Probably wanted to get the Bugs out of the Converting problem, before they went further with it.

But WHY put it out on the Market like that ???

I hope they take it further than it is now.

          AAAdios for now.
