New Version Install

Hello.

I have a quick question regarding an upgrade for DVDCopy.

I had v8.0.8.5 installed and have downloaded and installed the new v8.1.6.3. Now I have two folders inside Program Files. One is "DVDFab 8" and the other is "DVDFab 8 Qt".

I guess my first question is what is the "Qt"? Next question, what do I do with the non "Qt" version? There is an unistaller for each.

I would keep them both if it was me, 8.0.8.5 is not a QT version and you might find it comes in handy. QT is the Nokia language used to program, pronounced "cute". And yes there is an uninstall for each.

Why did it change? I guess I still don't understand the differences between them.

The differences should be transparent to the user; the programming language is different so it is a developer thing. I’ve found that 8.0.8.5 will make movies for my iPad that the new version will not if the original has certain timing issues.
