    Setting "above normal" priority

Greetings - I'm new to the forum (and to DVDFab), and read elsewhere that having CPU usage at 95% or more is normal when ripping DVDs to the hard drive - no problem. I've noticed minor video noise or artifacts on the recorded movie though, and was wondering if the priority of DVDFab.exe and FabCore.exe processes should be raised to "above normal" in Task Manager to ensure any other work I'm doing on the computer while ripping doesn't affect the quality of the recorded video. Any thoughts or comments? Thanks.

Quite simply put, there should be no artifacts and you shouldn't be doing anything else.
