Retaining chapter information

Is there a feature in the dvd/blu ray ripper software that will allow me to maintain the chapter information in the disk?

This has been asked for years in the MKV format. AFAIK it is still not there for DVD's. Other formats, no chance as the container usually does not support them.

Unsure on BR's as I do not use Fab's Rippers anymore because of these type of shortcomings. I want chapters, multiple audi and multiple subtitles within the container and am able to do this with free software.
