Other Hardware Pivos AIOS media player

Can anyone direct me to a place to buy a Pivos AIOS in Australia.

Nope, I've already tried. Been in touch with PIVOS and got told that they do not have a distributor.

There are plenty of others around of same specs.

Why paticularly do you want a PIVOS?

Mate, he said in Australia, not the US.

        US Postage costs are prohibitive....

It's for a friend who is upgrading his amp and want's the DTSMA / Dolby HD audio. I went the way of the DUNE smart H1 myself > a good unit but I think I would have been happier paying less. The Pivos unit sounds pretty good value for money. One thing I really like about the Dune is the ability to synch audio on the fly. Don't know if other units do that > pretty sure my old WD did not.

I have PIVOS AIOS. Works well with Bluray Main Movie ISO's and Full Movie ISO's. I use main movie mostly. Leave the DTS HD sound track, or the Dolby TrueHD.

Sometimes the AIOS you have to manually change the HD audio track. Not sure why but with some rips to get the multichannel hd audio it won't sense the change between DTS HD and Dolby TrueHD.

It works great. I've taken the hard drive out of it and am using NAS exclusively.

The AIOS is Realtek 1185 based. Lots of 1186 based units coming out. 3D, Linus and Android. Most have a bit faster cpu as well.
