Which is best

I think I know what you are going to say, but which is best? I had an evaluation copy of Transformers 2 which (obviously) would not back up the movie. So I got a trial copy of another software which worked with an old copy of Shrink. I don't buy too many movies, but do tend to back them up and watch the copies. Which software should I buy and why? Which was first with a fix for Transformers?
