iso files

when I copy a dvd it puts it on my hard drive. Everyone is talking about iso files. I don't find any .iso giles after i copy the dvd - only files like Video_vob, video_ifo, but I don't find andy .iso files. Can i use the video_TS folder and burn that?

How do a create a .iso file and can I copy it to a dvd to play on my stand alone dvd player?

Hi Lenora
You will not have any ISO files when copying to Hdd folder, only a folder containing the Audio TS and Video TS.
To burn these to disc use the Write Data within Fab and select the folder the Audio TS and Video TS are in, and not the individual files.

thanks so much for your answer., NOw IF i can get it to write to the dvd It says process is done but there is nothing on the disk, I have had this program for a few years and used to be able to write. Just tried backing up War horse and said it was completed but nothing on disk.

Sorry to hear your having problems, please post your logs the default location is:
For Win7 C:\Users\User Name\My Documents\DVDFab\Log
or Vista C:\Users\User Name\Documents\DVDFab\Log
or for XP C:\Documents and Settings\User Name\My Documents\DVDFab\Log

You can also just use ImgBurn and select folder and brun it that way, without using Write Data! If you can't get it to work!

I tried putting the log on but it was too long and I tried uploading but doesn't seem to work any tips?

You should be able to find the missing part of the ImgBurn log if you open up the menu item Help in ImgBurn and then select ImgBurn Logs.

As my friends said there should be more to your logs.

There is also a newer version of ImgBurn and you will find it here http://www.imgburn.com/index.php?act=download also be sure to set up the AWS in ImgBurn and your write speed to 1/2 the rated speed of your discs.

Please update your OS to SP2 from Micro$oft

The discs your using are not very good for media backup, please consider purchasing some Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim discs with the AZO dye on the package.
