I'm using DVDFab 9.0.0.9, and I have the option in the settings selected to not allow the computer to sleep. I think it says something like "Do not allow computer to sleep/hibernate when connected to main". However when I am ripping a disc, the computer still goes to sleep after 30 minutes (which is how I have it set in Windows 8 power settings). DVDFab 8 would always keep the computer awake until the task was completed.
Also, is there a way to change the name of the output file in DVDFab 9. As far as I could find, I can only select it to use the volume or title as labled on the disc for naming the ripped file.
