Quality difference between v8 and v9

I would like to know if the encoding engine is the same in DVDFab 8 and DVDFab 9 ?
Is there a quality difference between both ?

Version 9 is new and I'm sure that there will be many changes to it that version 8 does not even have.
The only way to tell is to install it and take it around the block a few times.

Is there anyway to improve quality with DVDFab 8 or 9 ? An hidden option other than two options that I can see on settings menu.
