2 Pass Encoding and Cuda not working?

I'm having an issue when I try and use 2 pass encoding with CUDA for ripping my movies, the fps starts off high then crawls down to nothing .02 fps. If I switch to software based decoding/encoding everything is fine or if I use 1 pass encoding CUDA works fine. I noticed a few threads from a few years ago saying there were issues with 2 pass encoding but they are 3 years old and I would hope they've fixed it.

I am running 9.0.2.8 on windows 8 with an Nvidia GTX 660 graphics card.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

I don't think any GPU accelerators work with 2 pass encoding, I use Intel Quick Sync and it doesn't either.
