Unable to update

I click the update link in the DvdFab forum and the update goes well until it gets to additional tasks. At additional tasks, it freezes. I temporarily shut off my antivirus software which worked before but it's not working this time. Has anyone else had this problem? Do you know how I can update?

If you are attempting to "RUN" from the web, don't. Save to the HDD then right click on the installer and select "Run as administrator".

Click "SAVE AS" instead of "RUN".

I dont have a save as option. I only have run and cancel.

ok so you have the installer on your hard drive already then?

When I click the link to the update that is on this website, it pulls up the options to run or cancel. Thats all I know. But when it starts running it freezes at additional tasks.

Sorry I know nothing of Google Chrome, maybe someone will come along and help you save the installer to the hard drive.

I also have firefox and internet explorer. Do you know of one of them?

Open Firefox and go here: and then click the save button.
