Other No DVDFab 9 version has worked for me (9.0.2.8 & 9.0.3.3)

I have been unable to run any version 9 Dvdfab software Beta or Release and no Media player version past the last beta not sure if it may be related. I can run Version 8 with no issues whatsoever but now that version 8 has been stopped I have no other options when it stops working eventually.

As soon as I run dvdfab version 9 either the official or beta it shows a logo saying accessing server information and then stays like that. I even let it run for over 2 hours and nothing happened it crashed as soon as I clicked on the logo.

I have windows 7 64-bit thats fully updated and has the latest Nvidia drivers as of today.

I disabled all firewalls including Kaspersky and Windows Firewall.
I even uninstalled Kaspersky and removed any registry entries and fully uninstalled all dvdfab software and only installed 1 version at a time removing it and cleaning the registry and file/folder locations each time.

Here is the only log file in the dvdfab directory. I deleted the serial number part.

    Hi Nekoman:
What are the system location and Unicode of your windows?
Did you change the default path of installaion?

I did not change the default path of the installation. The system location is Set to English (United States).

I Have Windows 7 64-bit and it is fully patched both the os and the video drivers.

The dvdfab 9 program installed to C:\Program Files (x86)\DVDFab 9

Try disabling all GPU activity once and see if it makes a difference. I don't know about that notebook graphics card, but it could be a problem?

Not sure what the graphics card has to do with it getting stuck at the accessing server screen before it even loads the application but I tried a few more things and then i restarted my computer in safe mode with network support enabled and then ran the program and this time it went to a register screen.

I entered my info and it loaded version 9 so i though it would work. I reboot my computer and load back into normal windows 7 and it still gets stuck at the accessing server logo and then crashes if you click on anything.

Well if it loads in safe mode but not normally you can bet it is a driver of some description.

              Hi Nekoman
I agree with my friend 90312, it may be a driver.
During install, are you saving the installer or are you selecting run?
If selecting run, try saving the installer to your download folder then right clicking it, select run as administrator.
              Hope this helps

Would you please try to delete the file "libplayercore.dll" which is in Program
                Files\DVDFab9\, then try again.
                If not succeed.
Try to delete the folder "DVDFab9" which is in C:\user\username\AppData\Roaming\, then try again.

I deleted libplayercore.dll as suggested and tried starting it with the same results stuck at accessing server info and then it crashes when you click on the logo. I then deleted the dvdfab9 folder under user/appdata/roming profile with the same result of getting stuck at the accessing server information loading screen.

I made a copy of my hard drive and i am currently uninstalling each program one at a time and will post back with the results.

After uninstalling every program and turning off every service and startup item i traced the problem down to Microsoft Services for NFS when that service was enabled DVDFab 9 would fail to start and simply stay at the accessing server startup logo and then crash every time. With NFS Services uninstalled it now successfully loads 20-30 seconds after i start the program not sure why NFS services caused it to not run.

The above fix that got dvdfab9 working for me did not fix the crashing DVDFab Media Player issue though and that did not run in safe mode either it just crashed when in safe mode with an XMBC error message stating that it could not output a log and to check write settings.
