Will more cuda cores speed encoding up?

I have a old junkie video card in my system that I use for test and running dvdfab.

So I was looking to replace the video card with a gforce that has either 96 cuda cores or one with 384 cores.

Will more cores speed up the encoding and copying?

Not sure where the cores come into effect when using dvdfbb.

    Any thoughts?

More is better along with GPU speed.

when you say gpu, do you mean the core clock speed?

I'm looking at this card, will this help out or am I wasting money? Not sure how to measure compared to what I have now?

      thanks

Yes, and that card will likely speed things up for you if you don't have an i7 CPU in your computer in which case I recommend Intel Quick Sync.
