DVSfab ver 9.0.4.0 will not see any media in my LG burner media

I upgraded to 9.0.4.0 and now I get a message saying Failed to open [e:\ Please check if its playable. I have tried many different types of blank dics but I still get the same error message. If I try the same discs on DVDfab version 8 it worked once but now says the same thing

I upgraded the firmware on the drive and turned off auto play , same results

Any suggestions?

I always get that error. I simply click OK or Cancel or Close or whatever choice closes that window and continue as though the message never appeared. Works fine.
BTW, I also stopped using the predecessor of Imgburn (DVD Decrypter) and have simply been using the burn engine built into DVDFab for a long time, anf have no out of sync errors or poor quality video or crashes.
That error is happening because DVDFab is trying to open the blank disk as though it's a movie. Simply closing the window should allow you to continue without any problems. At least that's my own personal experience with the error.
